The primary mission of the church and, therefore, of the churches, is to proclaim the gospel of Christ and gather believers into local churches where they can be built up in the faith and made effective in service, thereby planting new congregations throughout the world.

Huron Baptist Church actively participates in missionary initiatives across the globe. Our goal is to proclaim the gospel of Christ for the sake of His Name through planting and strengthening local churches. Therefore, we partner with other churches to support missionaries to accomplish three crucial objectives:

• Establish Churches (planting and strengthening) through evangelism and discipleship
• Strengthen Churches by training and encouraging  indigenous pastors and leaders
• Equip Churches with the written Word of God in their own language

Our current missionary families serve these objectives on four continents. The following missions agencies facilitate their work:

• Baptist Mid-Missions (Cleveland, Ohio)
• Bibles International (Grand Rapids, Michigan)
• Gospel Fellowship Association (Greenville, South Carolina)
• Grace Baptist Mission (Inter-City Baptist Church; Allen Park, Michigan)
